“Summer’s Not Over Diamond Lakes Getaway”

Official Contest Rules

The Diamond Lakes Travel Association (the “Sponsor”) is giving away a fun family getaway to the Diamond Lakes! Enter now for your chance to win.

1. THE CONTEST. School may be starting back, but summer's not over! Comment your favorite summer activity and request your free Hot Springs Diamond Lakes Vacation Guide, and you’re automatically entered to win a fun family getaway. Tag a friend for an extra entry!

2. THE ENTRY PERIOD. Entry for the Diamond Lakes Travel Association “Summer’s Not Over Diamond Lakes Getaway” giveaway (“the Contest”) will open when the contest-entry asset goes live on Facebook at approximately 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The entry period will close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

3. ELIGIBILITY. This contest is open to anyone over the age of 21 who resides in the contiguous U.S. (48 states plus the District of Columbia) and submits a valid entry during the entry period. Two entries per user will be considered for the grand prize drawing. Employees of the Diamond Lakes Travel Association and their families, as well as contract vendors and their families, are prohibited from winning this contest.

4. HOW TO ENTER. To enter the Contest, request the Hot Springs/Diamond Lakes Vacation Guide on the Diamond Lakes website and comment on the contest-entry post on the Hot Springs/Diamond Lakes Facebook page. Tag a friend in a comment for an extra entry. Limit two entries per user.

5. PRIZE WINNER SELECTION. At the end of the entry period, one grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be contacted via Facebook Messenger. If the prize is not claimed within 24 hours, another random winner will be chosen until the prize is claimed.

6. PRIZES. The grand prize includes a two-night stay at Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa (approximately $700 value), four general admission tickets to Magic Springs (approximately $250 value) and brunch for four at The Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa (approximately $150 value). Total estimated value is $1100.

7. PRIZE LIMITATIONS. Contest prizes are awarded in “as is” condition. Prizes may not be substituted for another or monetary value.

Mountain Harbor Resort & Spa prize includes two consecutive nights lodging in a two bedroom, two bathroom cottage. Valid any date between September 15, 2024 – May 15, 2025, excluding holidays (Thanksgiving weekend, Valentine’s Day weekend, and Spring Break, and more) special event dates, and tournament weekends. The Lodge Restaurant will be closed the Sunday after Thanksgiving and will not reopen until weekends in February and full time in March. The swimming pool closes in mid-October and will reopen in late-April. Reservations are based on availability. The bearer of the certificate must be at least 21 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at least 21 years of age.

8. ODDS OF WINNING. Likelihood of winning this contest is based on the total number of entries.

9. RELEASE. To the fullest extent permitted by law, in exchange for the opportunity to enter and participate in the competition and win the prize, you (for yourself), your heirs, next of kin, administrators and executors forever waive, release and hold harmless (“Release”) any and all rights, claims, damages, liabilities, costs, attorneys’ fees, expenses and causes of action whatsoever (“Claims”) that you may have against the Sponsor, the competition vendors and suppliers, its affiliates, employees and agents, vendors and suppliers, the judges, prize providers and each of their respective related entities (the “Released Parties”), and each such Released Parties’ officers, directors, employees and agents. This Release covers, without limitation, any Claims arising directly or indirectly out of your entry into and participation in the competition, your status as an entrant, finalist and/or a potential and/or actual winner, and/or use or non-use of prize and includes, without limitation, Claims based on personal injury, death, property damage, libel, slander, defamation, invasion of privacy/publicity, portrayal in a false light and any claim relating to the Sponsor hereunder. Further, you hereby release the Released Parties from any third-party intellectual property claims arising from or in connection with your entry. This Release survives the expiration of the competition.

10. PUBLICITY. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes your consent to the Sponsor’s use of your name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in perpetuity in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration to you and without obtaining any prior approvals.

11. FACEBOOK DISCLOSURE. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to the Organizers and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used as outlined above in the PUBLICITY section.
